Our first Summer print exhibit, “Print x Print” presents the development of concepts, narratives, technologies, and methodologies through printmaking in contemporary and modernist art. The spectrum of subject matter ranges from raising ecological and sociopolitical awareness, the human psyche, dreamscapes, popular culture, expressionistic portraiture, impressionistic landcapes and more. Techniques and mediums vary from the growing use of technology-driven digital image constructions to hands-on process oriented forms of traditional printmaking such as lithography, woodcut, or silk screen.
