“Critics, Collectors, Curators, and Grapefruit” is the most recent installation of Stuart Rapeport, an artist known for his anti-elitist humorous works of the 1970s. As part of the Getty’s Pacific Standard Time initiative, the current show at the Bleicher Gallery La Brea will gather together a number of art aficionados, collectors, and critics prominent in the 70’s and 80’s. This installation by Stuart features life sized wood cut portraits observing fruit pickers.
